La ciudad pas\u00f3 por manos \u00e1rabes y cristianas hasta que finalmente experiment\u00f3\u00a0un importante auge en los siglos XVI, XVII y XVIII\u00a0gracias a sus recursos agr\u00edcolas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Lebrija es tambi\u00e9n conocida por ser la\u00a0<\/span><strong>tierra de grandes artistas, <span>cada verano se celebra <\/span>La Caracol\u00e1 Lebrijana<span>, <\/span><\/strong>un festival flamenco con m\u00e1s de 40 a\u00f1os de historia<strong><span>. Famosas sus Cruces de Mayo. Su gastronom\u00eda: las habas corchas, los caracoles o el ajo refrito.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En<strong> Lebrija<\/strong> se elabora un buen pan, donde la <strong>telera, <\/strong>concretamente una <strong>boba de telera<\/strong>, es el pan m\u00e1s afamado. Cuenta con otras designaciones como el <strong>pan besao, <\/strong>debido a su cocci\u00f3n en hileras. Por su tama\u00f1o se le conoce como <strong>pan de kilo<\/strong>. Un pan que se compraba tradicionalmente para llevarlo al tajo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lebrija<\/strong> es ciudad de panaderos, <strong>como <a href=\"https:\/\/domivelezbakery.com\/\">Domi V\u00e9lez<\/a>, mejor panadero del mundo de 2021<\/strong>.
