A 33 kil\u00f3metros y con 700 habitantes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p >De la \u00e9poca romana se han encontrado numerosos restos arqueol\u00f3gicos. Durante el periodo de Al-Andalus, cont\u00f3 con varias alquer\u00ed\u00adas y fue un punto importante de defensa. Durante el siglo XVIII perteneci\u00f3 al campo de Texada y adquiere tanta importancia que disputa con Sanl\u00facar la Mayor la supremac\u00ed\u00ada de la comarca.<\/p>\n<p ><span>El \u00fanico monumento de inter\u00e9s es la Iglesia de San Miguel. Las fiestas: <strong>en honor a Ntra. Sra. del Buen Suceso y San Miguel Arc\u00e1ngel<\/strong>. La <strong>gastronom\u00eda<\/strong><\/span><span> variada \u00a0como las migas con sardinas, la caldereta de cordero y el tost\u00f3n con sardinas asadas. E<em>s pionera en la elaboraci\u00f3n del queso fresco de cabra<\/em>. \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/losvazquez.es\/\">Quesos Los V\u00e1zquez<\/a>\u201d.
