Durante este tiempo, los cristianos se dedican a la reflexi\u00f3n, la penitencia y la preparaci\u00f3n espiritual, recordando los cuarenta d\u00edas que Jes\u00fas pas\u00f3 en el desierto. El Mi\u00e9rcoles de Ceniza marca el inicio de la Cuaresma y precede a la celebraci\u00f3n de la Semana Santa en la tradici\u00f3n cristiana. El <strong>pan y el bacalao<\/strong> son dos protagonistas de la gastronom\u00eda de estos d\u00edas de la <strong>Cuaresma y Semana Santa<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>La tradici\u00f3n cat\u00f3lica mantiene e<span>l <strong>ayuno y la abstinencia<\/strong> como una obligaci\u00f3n. Todos los viernes, a no ser que coincidan con una solemnidad, debe guardarse la abstinencia de carne. Ayuno y abstinencia se guardar\u00e1n el Mi\u00e9rcoles de Ceniza y el Viernes Santo.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>El <strong>pan<\/strong> se convierte en algo muy utilizado en estas fechas, con las tradicionales <strong>torrijas<\/strong>.
